Below is a collection of work that was created for class assignments at the University of Alberta. Our theoretical designs were based off scripts given to us by our instructors and we were responsible for creating a production design for predetermined theatrical and found spaces. Students were encouraged by the instructors to meet specific criteria they were looking for, which varied between assignments, while also encouraging self exploration of themes, images, and function of our respective designs. All designs were shared publicly with other students when the unit was over to engage in conversation about choices and constructive critiques. 

As 2020 and 2021 made it difficult to share physical designs in-person, there was a huge shift in my artistic practice to adapt to digital rendering, which you can see here. Storyboarding has become a huge tool for me to articulate lighting, mood, and stage pictures when communicating to production and creative teams.
